With closer to one week left before commencement of the festival than two weeks, city officials, staff and festival organizers have deemed this time in the wake of such event “crunch time.”
Festival organizer Dell Davis, though it is still somewhat fluid, has presented a site plan, laying out each part of the festival and where each entity will go on Main Street and surrounding streets.
City officials and supervisors met Monday to iron out some of the final public safety issues — first aid stations, cool-down stations, EMS stations, law enforcement and security, etc.
