NOTICE: Residents living in Westland Acres-the week of February 1st.
Smoke Sewer Testing will be conducted weather permitting.
This type of test assists us in locating breaks or any defects in the sewer system
Please note: You may see SMOKE Coming from vent stacts or from holes in the ground.
Do not be alarmed: The smoke is odorless, non-toxic, non staining, is not a fire hazard.
The smoke will dissipate quickly.
Please notify the City of Wagoner asap if: you have a resident who wil be alone, needs assistance, elderly, or an individual who might have respiratory problems, or might be sleeping, dogs, birds or other pets confined and alone in your residence that might be confused and or alarmed if they see smoke. 918-485-2554
Please note: before the smoke test is conducted...please pour water into any basement floor drains​ and any unused sinks. This will help seal the drain traps so that smoke will not enter your home/building through the drain.
If smoke should enter your residence/building during the test-it probably means that there are defects in the plumbing that could allow DANGEROUS SEWER GAS to enter. Please note the location of the smoke and contact
918-485-2554 to arrange a meeting with our inspector. Open doors and windows to ventilate any smoke that enters the residence/building.
