Dwayne Elam, Bob Haley and Kim Dorr have completed the 2018 Community Leadership Development (CLD) program offered by the Oklahoma Municipal League. A graduation ceremony was held in Muskogee on Feb. 9. Elam is the City of Wagoner’s Administrator, Haley is Chief of Police and Dorr is the Human Resource Director for the city.
The CLD lasts 12 months and is designed to engage citizens to become community leaders by learning valuable skills in the areas of teamwork, community assessment and planning, economic development and tourism and community renewal.
Elam, Haley and Dorr spent the past year traveling the state to six different host cities, developing their leadership skills while building valuable relationships with a diverse group of community leaders.
