Description:

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 30, 2025! We are partnering with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) to host a FREE Kids Fishing Clinic at the city pond. Each child who participates will receive a free day pass to the Wagoner Waterpark.

Walmart in Wagoner is providing FREE hot dogs, and Rowe Insurance is supplying FREE chips! Baitmasters Outdoors is offering FREE bait, and Wildlife Conservation will have fishing poles available for kids to use if they don't have their own gear. Prizes for the Biggest Catch, Smallest Catch, Most Fish Caught, and Most Unique Catch will be one-week passes to the Wagoner Waterpark. Participants can win in one category to ensure that others will have an opportunity to win.

Please include the following in your submission! 

  • Digital Flyer or Graphic (preferably in a PNG or JPEG format)
  • Name of the organization, non-profit or business hosting the event 
  • Date, Time, Location of Event
  • Admission Information or Details
  • Contact Number for those interested in attending to get more information from you or the host
  • A special event permit and insurance is required for your event if you are utilizing city property (excluding Civic Center and Community Building) as the location to host your event. Please reach out to Kristen Mallett at 918-485-2554 to determin if a permit is needed.
