The City of Wagoner is now accepting applications for our 2026 Summer Internship Program for high school juniors and seniors during the 2025–2026 school year. This is a 6 week program, running June 1 through July 3, 2026. It is designed to offer hands-on experience in local government, mentorship from city professionals, networking opportunities and the chance to earn school credit and community service hours. Applications are due April 10, 2026, with interviews completed by April 27, 2026. Students may pick up a physical application at City Hall or from their school counselor. Please include the following in your submission! 

  • Digital Flyer or Graphic (preferably in a PNG or JPEG format)
  • Name of the organization, non-profit or business hosting the event 
  • Date, Time, Location of Event
  • Admission Information or Details
  • Contact Number for those interested in attending to get more information from you or the host
  • A special event permit and insurance is required for your event if you are utilizing city property (excluding Civic Center and Community Building) as the location to host your event. Please reach out to Kristen Mallett at 918-485-2554 to determin if a permit is needed.
