Oklahoma Governor has proclaimed March 13-19 as Oklahoma Museums Week.
Don't forget to visit Wagoner's History Center-March 17, 18 and 19th.
The Center currently features Wagoner's Early History from 1887 to Oklahoma Statehood-The Shirley Lamb Williams
collection. You can see furniture and keepsakes from the first settlers of Wagoner,
first taxi in Wagoner, documents and photos from Wagoner "The Queen City of the Prarie."
Oklahoma is also known for the many outstanding musicians, songwriters, artists with Oklahoma ties.
The History Center features the collection of Jim Halsey "Starmaker". Gold records, Grammy Awards,
guitars, stage wear, poster art and so much more!
Hours are Thursday- Friday, Saturday- 10a - 5p. Sunday-10a-4p.
Admission is free...but donations are appreciated.
